Technical details:

This wave is a 7.5m wide, artificial wave with the patented CITYWAVE technology. It is one of the most innovative and efficient solutions for wave riding facilities. With the special deep-water technology, CITYWAVE creates perfect conditions for an authentic surfing experience. Due to the water depth of at least 50cm in the entire surf pool, surfboards with standard fins can be surfed. The wave can be individually adjusted, whereby the wave height (variable between 1.20m and 1.40m), wave shape and water speed can be changed as required. This guarantees a perfect wave for every session, regardless of whether you are a beginner or a professional.

Recommended surfboard setup:

For this wave we recommend our surfboard model "The Heater" in combination with PVC fins and a small center fin. This setup gives a lot of grip in radical turns. Alternatively we recommend "Supernova" with PVC fins and a small center fin.

The location:

The Jochen Schweizer Arena is located in Taufkirchen, about 20 minutes outside the city center and is easy to reach by car and public transport. In addition to the indoor surf wave, there is also a wind tunnel for bodyflying and a restaurant on site.
