Meet the team
Our team consists of passionate surfers who use creativity, adventurous spirit and technical know-how to bring our vision of exceptional river surfing boards to life. Together we form the heart of Radiance.
Leon (Founder & Surfboard Engineer)
Leon is literally our founding daddy and the brains behind all Radiance Shapes. He discovered his love of surfing through annual family trips to Sardinia and France. With two years of shaping experience in Portugal and a degree in mechanical engineering, Leon combines technical expertise with creative flair. At Radiance he designs surfboards that are perfectly tailored to river surfers, an expression of his deep passion for water sports.
Anne (Co-Founder, Social Media & Project Manager)
Anne, co-founder of Radiance, takes on the roles of social media manager and project manager. Her enthusiasm for surfing was awakened during a stay at a surf camp in Fuerteventura and by the film “Blue Crush”. Since then, she has explored surf spots around the globe. Despite countless wipeouts, her love for surfing has steadily deepened. At Radiance, Anne brings this passion and combines her surfing experiences with a strong social media presence and effective project management.
Moritz (co-founder, graphic/web designer)
Moritz is our web guru & graphic designer. Originally from Regensburg, he now lives in Indonesia and explores the waves of this paradisiacal country. His passion for surfing, originally sparked by the sea, deepened into river surfing on Munich's Eisbach. Formerly a Cliffdiver, he brings his sense of adventure and thrill to every design at Radiance, making our brand and products unique.
