Technical details:

This wave system is a unit pool. The system floats on the lake but is firmly anchored to the ground. 12 pumps move the water about one meter above the surface of the lake. As the water flows back down due to gravity, a wave is created, just like other river waves. The water then flows over a kind of kicker. The bigger the wave is supposed to be, the more water has to be pumped through the system. The wave can be set to three different levels.

Recommended surfboard setup:

For this wave we recommend our surfboard model "The Heater" in combination with PVC fins and a small center fin. This setup gives a lot of grip in radical turns. Alternatively we recommend "The Shiner" with PVC fins and a small center fin.

The location:

The surfing facility is located exactly between Cologne and Düsseldorf on the A59. The best way to reach Surf Langenfeld is by car. There is also a restaurant and a bar on site, from which you have a particularly good view of the waves.
